Dr. Felix Finkeldey Takes 3rd Place at "Forum Junge Spitzenforschung"

With his project idea "LEAP," Dr. Finkeldey took third place at "Forum Junge Spitzenforschung" . The project aims to develop an acoustic process monitoring system for milling processes. A retrofittable audio box analyzes acoustic signals from the manufacturing process in real time and detects unstable conditions, such as chatter, at an early stage. The goal is to make manufacturing processes more robust and efficient. The project is intended to help transfer research-based innovations to industrial applications.
